April Schaeffer, Owner/Stylist - I have been a stylist since 2000 at a local salon Collinsville, Illinois. It is my home away from home. My husband John and I have been together since 1996 and were married in 2001; we have a son, Chandler.
On my wedding day I had a personal stylist come to us and thought it was so great that I knew I would someday like to offer that service to other brides. In the spring of 2004 a close friend of mine, Sabrina Torti of Proposing Dreams asked if I would be interested in doing "travel to" hair for one of her brides, I of course said yes, and decided I was ready to start my "travel to" business. Since then it has really taken off and I am loving it!!
I have really enjoyed being a part of the wedding party's "morning of" preparation. I've found it to be a much more personal and relaxing environment than having it at the salon. I look forward to helping you and your wedding party start off an amazing day!

I really like to share with people what I do in my off time so expect to see pics of fun things I do with my husband and son, as well as all my great friends.
